Want to improve your credit rating? Consider using a low-limit Credit Card as a strategy of monthly borrowing and repaying. It works wonders. Find out more.
Microsoft Word is a good program but it has one major fault - it's far too complex for the average user. For example, most users I would think are similar to me and use Word in a simple fashion, ie to write an article or letter.

So the best way to use Word's power without having to immerse yourself in the details is to use some of the free Word templates, downloadable from the web.

Make yourself an Office genius with these FREE Word and Excel templates - they're excellent
What are Word Templates - What can they do

As its name suggests a template is an already formatted document. Here is a small list of what Templates can be downloaded and used -

  • Address books
  • Announcements
  • Balance Sheets
  • Catalogues
  • Financial forecasts
  • Instructions
  • Itineraries
  • Invoices etc

To use a Template first download it (see link below), save it to your hard drive (always a good idea to make a copy) and then fill in the text. And of course the templates are all customisable so adding or changing the layout or colours is no problem.

We've been using a number of templates for a few years and they're excellent. Overall they easily create a far more professional look to your work.

Templates also for Excel - PowerPoint - Access

The templates are not just for Word. They're also available for most of Microsoft's products including Excel, PowerPoint and the database program Access.
