What markets can CFDs be traded in
Last update : September 2010
CFDs are mainly used for trading stocks but many brokers also offer the ability to go long and short some of the major stock indexes such as FTSE 100, S&P 500, Nasdaq etc.

But what about smaller shares?

CFDs: Available markets to trade
Most CFD brokers will offer their clients a market on any share as long as it has decent daily volume although both the financing rates and initial margins might be set at a higher level.
