Email Tips For Defeating Spam
Use these simple tips for deleting spam;
- You must sign up for a free email account as well as your normal one. Use a service like Hotmail for mail that is not urgent
- Only ever give your main email address out to sites that run a Privacy policy. LearnMoney.co.uk is an example, we do not sell or market email addresses
- Never use your main email address (use the Hotmail one) when you join or reply to Newsgroups etc
- NEVER reply to a spam message or click the link that says 'unsubscribe', this just informs the scammer that there's someone at the end of the message, the effect being you'll get a lot more spam
