Can Life Insurance policies

be placed in a Cash ISA

Some Life insurance policies can be added to a Cash ISA and some can't. This is highlighted by the Inland Revenue's website which states:

'Life insurance policies can be added to a Cash ISA but only those that fail to meet the qualifying conditions for the stocks and shares ISAs'
I admit, the above quote doesn't really help so the best advice I can offer is to contact the Inland Revenue directly on their helpline - 0845 604 1701.
